Access data – Server log files
For technical reasons and to optimize the use of the website, we collect data that your Internet browser provides and store them as “server log files” on the sever of the website.

- Source/reference from which you came to the page

- Operating System
- Your Ip- Address
The storage of Access Data is done for security reasons, for example to clarify cases of abuse. The data are deleted within a few days, after serving its purpose. If they are required for reasons of proof, they are excluded from the deletion until the incident has been definitively clarified. These access data cannot be assigned to a specific person, but we would like to point out that under GDPR IP addresses are considered personal data. These data are processed on the legal grounds of our legitimate interest (Art 6 par.1 lit.f GDPR) to prevent fraud and unauthorized system access. An analysis of IP-addresses for statistical or marketing purposes is not performed.
Contacting us through the website
If you contact us via the form on the website or by e-mail, by submitting your request you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of technical administration of the request as well as possible follow-up questions (Art 6 par.1 lit. a GDPR). Data is stored by us for six months. You may at any time request that your personal data is deleted by any of the means shown in Contact details below.
Access to the Website
The use and access to the contents of this website is reserved to registered Users. Personal Data provided by you in advance for registration purposes, as well as your User ID, are logged and stored for the technical administration of the User Management Process. We store your data for as long as you remain a registered user of our web platform or for statutory requirements.
These data are processed for the purpose of providing you with a user account and on the legal grounds of your consent (Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR).
You have the right to receive information on request at any time as to which personal data about you is stored. Your consent for data storage and processing can be revoked at any time. The controller corrects or deletes your personal data at the request or notice of the data subject, as far as no statutory storage requirements are in conflict.
Use of the Web platform
The use of the Insurance Services available on the web platform in principle does not require the input of personal data. The following data categories may be required:
- Data on the contractor and possibly other involved persons
- Data of legal entities involved
- Risk relevant details
- Product wishes, purpose and scope of requested cover
The data processing on the web platform takes place on the legal grounds of performance of contractually agreed services (Art 6 par. 1 lit b GDPR) and for compliance with our legal obligations (Art 6 par 1 lit c GDPR).
We will not retain these data for longer than necessary to fulfill the above purposes or as required by legal requirements. If data is not covered by a statutory filing obligation, we will delete your data as soon as the purpose for which they were collected has ceased.
Recipient of the data
The data are processed internally by QuaroniKarner GmbH for the stated purposes. Data entered on the web-based platform are transmitted upon request to the respective (Re)Insurance Company. For the operation of our website and to transmit data we also use the services of selected IT service providers with whom data processing contracts are in place in accordance with Art 28 GDPR.
As a general rule, we do not transfer your personal data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where in exceptional cases data are transferred by our IT providers outside the EEA area, the transfer is performed on the basis of appropriate safeguards and by adopting standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission in accordance with Art. 46 par. 2 lit. c and d GDPR.
Your Rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection of your stored data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to us at office@quaronikarner.com or the Data Protection Authority.

Change of privacy policy
